Samoa Flights
Direct flights to the Samoan capital, Apia, depart from Sydney with Virgin Australia and take around five and a half hours. Alternatively, you can connect from other Australian East Coast capitals via Auckland from around nine hours with Air New Zealand. If you are coming from Central or Western Australia, then connecting in Sydney is going to be your best option to reduce transit times and the resulting jet lag. Samoa’s dry season extends from May to October and is the most pleasant time to visit, although things can get busy during the European holiday of July and August. Expect a lot of rain and the occasional cyclone from November to April, but also fewer crowds and decreased accommodation prices.
