Tokyo Flights
There are direct flights from Melbourne into Tokyo which take around 10 and a half hours, so if you are flying from other Australian capital cities your best option is to connect through here first. You may experience a little jet lag on both arrival and return, particularly if you are taking a connecting flight, and a day or so may be needed for your body to recover. While Tokyo’s hotel prices are steep throughout the year, June through to August is the peak tourist season and if you visit during this period you will have to compete with crowds at most of the city’s attractions. Both Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit when the parks are beautiful in their changing foliage and temperatures much more comfortable.
